Spay/Neuter Your Pet! BARL will help if we can...
The Brookhaven Animal Rescue League offers discount spay/neuter vouchers to pet owners throughout the year.
At different times, we have different programs, depending if we receive grant money and what the grantor guidelines include.
As part of the current spay/neuter program, pet owners will pay $40-$45 per animal for spay/neuter and a rabies vaccination.
--Owners must be a resident of Copiah, Franklin or Lincoln County.
--Owners must be on a government assistance program.
--At various times discount vouchers are offered to educators, also. Check with the vet clinic with questions.

Placing Animals With Seniors (PAWS)
BARL's Placing Animal With Seniors (PAWS) program offers senior citizens discounted adoption fees on BARL animals. The program is sponsored by Pets for the Elderly. Anyone 60 or older is eligible to receive $50 off his or her adoption fee of a new BARL pet. A dog's adoption fee will be reduced to $50 (instead of $100) and a cat's adoption fee will be reduced to $35 (instead of $85). The program is designed to offer companionship to senior individuals through pet ownership while providing a home for a shelter animal.

BARL does receive grant money from this program. Please purchase a license plate to support BARL.
